Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 21st May 2020 at 2 pm, remotely under: The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020*.

1. APOLOGIES, DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND APPLICATIONS FOR DISPENSATION

1. APOLOGIES – Cllrs Carrington (NKDC) & Cawrey (LCC)
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST – none declared.
3. APPLICATIONS FOR DISPENSATION – none received.

2. It was resolved, under the above regulations*, to not hold the prescribed Annual Meeting of the Parish Council and to continue with the current appointments until May 2021.

3. NOTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING

• The Notes of the meeting held on the 30th April 2020 were agreed and signed as the minutes.

4. PUBLIC FORUM

• No members of the public were present.

5. FINANCIAL MATTERS

1. The following was resolved:
   1. The schedule of payments (see below)

6. TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT OF THE GROUNDS PERSON

• It was resolved to confirm the appointment of the Grounds Person, following a satisfactory probation period.

7. TO RESOLVE IF COUNCIL WISH TO APPROACH THE DEVELOPERS OF PLANNING APPLICATION 20/0436 TO LOOK AT POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND IF SO TO SET UP A WORKING PARTY FOR FURTHER DISCUSSIONS

• It was agreed, by a vote of 8 for and 2 against, to approach the developers of the site. A working party of all Council Members was agreed to look at possible suggestions.

Under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 Councilors’ resolved to move into closed session for the following items:

8. SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS (SALARIES, etc.)

• The schedule of payments was approved.
